Watercolour home-study

'Discovering pure Watercolour' is a distance learning course with tutor support.  It consists of three videos sent at intervals over a period of a year together with relevant text material and tutor supported assignments where your work is reviewed and the successful learning points identified so you can learn from success rather than just learning from your mistakes.  A wide range of learning methods are used to explain the principles and practice of pure or traditional watercolour. The main feature of the course is is learning from success and how to overcome difficulties with the medium. Each student produces art work and presents a review report to their tutor of the successful aspects of his/her work. The difficulties experienced by the student are understood by the tutor and a learning pathway prepared for the student. The student has to be fully involved with the learning review process otherwise progress will not be made. The tuition provided takes into consideration the students own critique and provides guidance and coaching in technique and understanding of the medium. We communicate with you by telephone, email and post so that you get a similar amount of support as you would get if you attend a classroom based course. Each student registered is an individual to us with personal needs.
